"This was my first new vehicle purchase ever. The salseman was very helpful and never pressured me into a sale. My family and I were able to walk around and check out all the bikes to find the one that fit me best. The finance dept was able to work with me to get the best rate possible for my purchase and made me feel like I was part of the HD family. The store Manager even personally sat with me to discuss my new purchase and asked if I had any questions that he could answer for me. This dealer will be my first choice for anything I ever need for my bikes and the only one I would reccomend to any one wanting a personel experience when shopping for a new or used bike or just wanting simply to browse for parts and accessories for the one they already have. Thank you SMHD for the great atmosphere you provided for me and my family."

"Couple of years ago I was looing for a 1200 sportster custom, called stone mountain hd, they didn't have one but the owner searched for a week for one for me and called me keeping me up to date on her progress. So many would have just said we don't have one and hung up. she couldnt find one but the point she kept looking meant something to me. You don't find that in any industry anymore."

"Stone Mountain HD made the experience of purchasing my first Harley easy, stress-free, and exciting! Craig in particular did a wonderful job of working with me to put me on the best bike for me at a price I could afford. At no point did he ever turn into the dreaded pushy salesman. His laid-back no nonsense sales style made me feel completely comfortable and confident throughout the purchasing process. I want to give a shout-out to Shane and a thanks to Mr. Charlie also. Both of you guys made the whole experience fun as well. The ladies in the motor clothes department are very friendly and all around fantastic too! For all of my future Harley needs there is no question in my mind as to where I will be going. Thank you everyone at SMHD for welcoming me into the Harley Brotherhood (or in my case Sisterhood). See you soon! "

"I have been a customer for years, but it has been a while since I've had my bike in for service. This is the first time I have met the Service Manager Jim and I felt like I was talking to trusted friend. He listened to what I had to say was wrong with the bike and clarified points to make sure I knew he understood the problems. It may be a little thing, but I liked that he called me by first name...made me feel like a riding buddy rather than just a customer. Keep up the good work."

"I bought my first Harley in June. A used Sportster 883L. I hadn't been on a bike in 25 years. Rusty Gober was my salesman and took real good care of me. I made several purchases in the parts department and the motor clothes department. Rusty called me a month or so later to see how I was liking the bike and to check on me. I had decided that the Sportster was too small so, I went in to see Rusty in September to try to trade up to a bigger bike. Rusty and Jerry found me a Road KIng the fit my financial needs and made me a great deal. I had a few issues with the road king and Rusty, Jerry and Darrell all worked extremely hard to make sure that I was happy and taken care of. If you want a dealership that really cares about their customers, go to Stone Mountain Harley. The best customer service in the Atlanta metro area.
Thanks Guys!!!"

"RECENTLY ON A BUSINESS TRIP TO THE STONE MTN. AREA RIDING MY '06 ULTRA CLASSIC, I DISCOVERED MY REAR TIRE WAS IN NEED OF REPLACING. A FRIEND TOLD ME TO RIDE OUT TO STONE MOUNTAIN H-D. IT WAS LATE IN THE DAY, ABOUT 2HRS BEFORE QUITTING TIME WHEN I ARRIVED. I APPROACHED THE SERVICE DESK AND AFTER TELLING THEM I WAS A TRAVELER, I ASKED IF THERE WAS ANY WAY I COULD GET A TIRE ON MY BIKE THAT DAY.
DAVE ENGEBRETSEN, THE SERVICE MANAGER, CHECKED HIS SCHEDULE FOR THAT DAY AND SHIFTED DUTIES TO WORK ME IN. THEY ARE NORMALLY ABOUT ONE TO TWO WEEKS OUT ON SOME SCHEDULED SERVICE. I CAN'T EXPRESS ENOUGH MY GRATTUIDE FOR THEIR QUICK RESPONSE AND RESPECT FOR A FELLOW TRAVELER.

"I recently had major repairs and an overhaul of my 2005 Fatboy due to an unfortunate accident. Chris in the Parts Department assisted with the selection of the parts and painstakingly went over page after page through the catalog to ensure that my bike had all the required parts. Mike and Alex in the service worked with me and actually ensured the repairs of my bike were completed ahead of schedule. Stone Mountain Harley Davidson provides phenomenal service, customer support and a friendly atmosphere. I recommend them for all your motorcycling needs. I know that when I need something for my custom 05 Fatboy......I turn to the parts and service department. Live to Ride!!"

"My husband just purchased a 2008,105th Anniversary Edition Ultra Classic from Granite Mountain. This is his 5th Harley but the 1st from this dealership. I can honestly say it was a wonderful experience! From the minute we walked into the dealership everyone there went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Malcolm, Jack, and Tom know the true meaning of customer service. We rang the bell and played cards; and in doing so won some gift-card money. They each provided services with a smile and and sense of humor. The same can be said of the young lady who helped us find 105th Anniversary t-shirts and of the parts department. All of the employees at THIS dealership are an asset to the Harley-Davidson Company! "

"After talking to the Military about purchasing a bike, we
looked on the Internet for your site. My wife read a few
of the comments and found one that stated the good sales
experience several new owners had with Scott Dorer. Scott
was described as very knowledgeable but not pushy which was exactly what she was looking for in a salesman. So she and my daughter went to the dealership and found Scott. He was extremely pleasant, answered all of our questions and explained everything to them in detail. When presented with the quote from the Military, Scott and Darryl Gower (the General Manager) worked with them and we were able to purchase the 105th Anniversary FLHTCU model for about $100 more than the original quote. When I returned to the States, we went in and picked up the bike and Scott explained all the necessary information about the bike, maintenance, service and operation to me. While we were picking out our helmets and gear we had another super experience with Donna Odum. She was very patient with all of our questions and helped us with everything we needed to get started with our new adventure. Overall the staff at Granite Mountain is wonderful!

"I just bought a 2008 Anniversary Edition Ultra Classic and the experience was incredible. Carl and Mike were great to deal with and everybody I talked to at Stone Mountain was just top notch. From the minute I walked through the door I felt welcome and valued as a customer. I was impressed with the time and effort they put into evaluating my trade-in and the fair price that was paid. I am almost 50 years old and have been riding for almost 30 years. I have purchased several Harleys over the years as well as other types of vehicles and I can honestly say that I have never had a better experience in a dealer of any kind. Thank you."

"I bought a Nightster and had to bring it back when the license plate relocation kit came in. This is a new part and necessary for the tear drop saddle bags that I wanted. My husband took the bike to the service department early Saturday morning and it was supposed to take a couple of hours. It took all day because the bolt Harley Davidson said to use would not fit and they had to search to get the correct bolt.
They found the bolt and got the job done that day. Because Harley Davidson had said it would only take 2 hours labor they only charged us for that. The service department solved the problem and made good on the labor quote. Now my Nightster has a place to store things and is ready to ride thanks to the diligence of the service department, especially Tom Erlandson and Dave Engebretsen! The extra time to locate a properly sized bolt prevented Tom from performing additional service jobs, meaning he actually lost money in his effort to do the job right on my Nightster. He could have cut corners and made do without my knowledge, and I truly appreciate his commitment to me as a SMHD customer.

"I've been riding for 28 years and over 300,000 miles in which time I have owned 9 bikes with one being a Harley. This is the first time I have EVER wanted to say GREAT JOB from start to finish to a dealership of any kind. Stone Mountain Harley Davidson has earned my repeat business when that time comes and I will be referring friends to them.
THANK YOU

"There are no bugs left in Missouri, Iowa, and South Dakota. I collected them all when I rode through on my trip to Sturgis this past week. I returned to Granite Mountain to have my 30K service completed on my dust-covered bug-cycle and when the job was done, my gleaming, shiny, black and chrome machine was waiting for me outside. Not only did Chip do a great job on the service, but Dixie and the wash rack gang really put in extra effort to clean my motorcycle. It's spotless!!! Wow! Thanks for the super job in service...to Sandra, Justin, Lonnie and Renne and Chip, and especially to Dixie and the wash rack gang."

"Stone Mountain saved my vacation!
On Saturday, the Screaming Eagle clutch on my 2000 FXR4 burnt out before we were scheduled to leave for the Shenandoah Valley that Wednesday. Why it burnt out, and why I’m switching dealerships is another story. The 2000 clutch was out-of-date, so friction plates are very hard to find. There was one set at Harley, and Granite Mountain had just sent a set back.
On Monday, Dennis (parts department) spent hours on the phone confirming with the techs at Harley to make sure that the one set of friction plates they had would work in my old clutch. He had them check the engineering drawings to make double sure; no mistakes. Harley packaged up the friction plates and assigned a UPS number for overnight delivery. Stone Mountain then juggled their services department schedule around to start work when the UPS truck arrived with the friction plates on Tuesday.
By Tuesday 1:00 PM there was no UPS truck. Dennis confirmed that the package was lost at Harley and never made it to the UPS pick-up point. I could see the package on the UPS site, but Harley couldn’t find it! Not giving up, Dennis phoned Granite Mountain Harley Davidson and asked them if all the Harley return boxes had actually been picked up. When the answer came back no, he persuaded them to open each and every box to check for the chance that the clutch plates might be in the yet to be picked up boxes. They were. He dispatched a runner all the way across town. My bike was finished late Tuesday night.
Wednesday morning I picked it up and the vacation started! Our vacation was great!

"I cannot say enough good things about Granite Mountain Harley. We drove over an hour past two dealerships in our area because of the way Scott Dorer treated me over the phone and e-mail. He was even nicer in person. Scott began looking for a bike for me the first of June and never gave up on me or became disinterested. He was always kind, prompt, and courteous. Jerry and Scott found the bike that I was looking for and a price/combo deal that I could not turn down. We will be back for ALL of our future Harley needs, whether it is bikes, helmets, parts, or clothes. Thank you so much for making this once in a lifetime experience for me memorable. BTW - this is my first bike - long time passenger...first time rider. Thanks again Granite Mountain Harley. Thanks to all of the beautiful women in apparel that helped me, and thank you Bill for your great sense of humor. July 28, 2007"

"I came into the service department with my brand new 1200N Sportster Nightster for a simple recall issue, which was handled quickly, friendly, and included a quick wash for my bike. On the way home, I had an unfortunate issue with my clutch which left me stranded on Stone Mountain Highway. I called up and they said someone would be out. The assistant service director just happened to see me and pulled over. He said he just saw me in the store and wanted to see what the problem was. A few minutes later, the truck showed up and they brought me back to the service department. They informed me that this was under warranty and took very good care of me. It was because of this experience that I became a Stone Mountain HD MVP (frequent shopper program) and will recommend it to my friends. Thanks to everyone in service who helped me out. See y'all soon!"
